Training of the Most Crucial Kind
All tributes must go through a series of training stations in order to build up their skills and impress the Sponsors who would send their favorite tributes items during the event. Each station is specialized to one aspect that could potentially be very important in keeping a tribute alive.
If a tribute wishes to train they must start a thread with their full name in the title and then begin posting from there. To be eligible for an additional five points on their health points a five hundred word or more comprehensive post must be made about the tribute training in one specific area. Each post must specifically state what it is that they are training in at the top or no points will be rewarded.
01. Archery | The Archery Station gives the tribute a chance to test their skills with a bow and arrow. Several different targets are set up all around a room and can either be moving or stationary, but either way they post a challenge to the one who is trying to hit the target.
02. Axesoxing | The Axesoxing Station gives the tribute a chance to test their skills with an ax. Several different targets are set up all around a room and can either be moving or stationary, but either way they post a challenge to the one who is trying to hit the target.
03. Camouflage | The Camouflage Station gives the tribute a chance to learn how to conceal themselves. This is an important skill because it teaches the tributes how to conceal themselves in the arena so they will not be as large of a target as they would be if they were out in the open.
04. Climbing | The Climbing Station gives the tribute a chance to test their skills with both climbing and evasion. A miniature arena is set up with various obstacles and trees, giving any tribute the perfect opportunity to show off and train just how good they are at keeping hidden in these areas and moving around.
05. Edible Insects | The Edible Insect Station gives the tribute a chance to learn what insects that could possibly be in the area are edible or poisonous.
06. Edible Plants | The Edible Plant Station gives the tribute a chance to learn what plants that could possibly be in the area are edible or poisonous.
07. Fires | The Fires Station gives the tribute a chance to learn how to build a fire from the materials around them and what location would keep them the warmest. It also teaches them how to heal any sever burn marks using the different natural items that would be available to them in the Hunger Games.
08. Gauntlet | The Gauntlet Station gives the tribute a chance to train their skills using a daunting obstacle course. It consists of a series of ascending platforms that constantly move around, forcing the tributes to jump from platform to platform as they compete for the best time. To make this that much more difficult, trainers will attack the tributes with various weapons.
09. Hand-to-Hand Combat | The Hand-to-Hand Combat Station gives the tribute a chance to test their skills in a fight without weapons. Tributes will be given the chance to battle either one another or a Mentor without a weapon to see just how they could take down someone who could easily overpower them or slip out of their grasp in an instant.
10. Knives | The Knives Station gives the tribute a chance to test their skills with various knives and daggers. Several different targets are set up all around a room and can either be moving or stationary, but either way they post a challenge to the one who is trying to hit the target. Along with this, tributes will be given a chance to battle either one another or a Mentor with the weapons to see how they could hone their skills.
11. Knots | The Knots Station gives the tribute a chance to learn how to tie knots that could possibly be very important to them out in the arena.
12. Ropes | The Ropes Station gives the tribute a chance to train their skills using a daunting obstacle course. A large net is stretched across the ceiling of the training area and set up in a way that tributes must learn now to hone their abilities and throw their body weight just the right way to leap around and move nimbly.
13. Shelters | The Shelters Station gives the tribute a chance to learn how to build a shelter from the materials around them and what location would keep them the warmest. It also teaches them how to conceal themselves while they rest.
14. Slingshots | The Slingshots Station gives the tribute a chance to test their skills with a slingshot. Several different targets are set up all around a room and can either be moving or stationary, but either way they post a challenge to the one who is trying to hit the target since they can be extremely small and far away.
15. Snares | The Snares Station gives the tribute a chance to learn how to build snares that could either catch food or another tribute from the materials around them.
16. Spears | The Spears Station gives the tribute a chance to test their skills with a spear. Several different targets are set up all around a room and can either be moving or stationary, but either way they post a challenge to the one who is trying to hit the target. Along with this, tributes will be given a chance to battle either one another or a Mentor with the weapon to see how they could hone their skills.
17. Sword Training | The Sword Training Station gives the tribute a chance to test their skills with various swords. Tributes will be given the chance to battle either one another or a Mentor with the weapon to see how they could hone their skills as well as what other important tools a sword could be used as.
18. Tridents | The Tridents Station gives the tribute a chance to test their skills with a trident, one of the rarest items used in the Hunger Games. Tributes will be given the chance to battle either one another or a Mentor with the weapon to see how they could hone their skills as well as what other important tools a trident could be used as.
19. Weightlifting | The Weightlifting Station gives the tribute a chance to better their skills at lifting various objects as well as show off their skills.
20. Wrestling | The Wrestling Station gives the tribute a chance to test their skills if they were forced into a one-on-one match with another opponent and hand-to-hand combat was out of the question. Tributes will be given the chance to battle either one another or a Mentor without any weapons to see how they could hone their skills.
