District Ten
The District |
District Ten is known as the livestock district of Panem because it maintains all livestock and provides beef for the Capitol. This area is relatively poor though since the livestock industry is so slow and the district has no other industry that could help to stimulate the economy. Most people are left to scrounge for whatever items they may need during the year because of a lack of money.
Personality |
The people of District Ten are hard workers who are very dedicated to their job because of their love for animals. However most are rather rebellious because the district refuses to set up other industry in their district to help stimulate the economy. In concerns to the Unger Games their knowledge is average, though most are skilled with a cleaver when it comes to wielding and throwing it because of the training that they have received as further butchers.
Careers |
Many people of this district are livestock farmers and herders, raising various types of livestock from infancy until they are old enough to be sent to a butcher. This is the other main job of the district, the butcher cutting up the animals and packing them to be sent off to the Capitol where they are further distributed.
