District Two
The District |
District Two is known as the district where all of the Peacekeepers are trained and weapons are manufactured, but their specialty is in stone cutting and mining. Due to the fact that they are located in the Rocky Mountains near the Capitol there are many mines to work in, though many of the small villages are build around the one main mine that people work at. However this is not the only purpose for the district, another one being that the Capitol stores all of its hovercrafts and military supplies here in “The Nut”.
Another thing that this district is famous for their warrior children because even the smallest of children are trained from birth to want to become a Peacekeeper for the Capitol since it is such a prestigious honor.
Personality |
Most people from this district are described as pompous and strict because of their military base, but they are also a hard working people who always try to succeed. Each and every person is in impeccable physical shape and some of their children are even trained to become Career children, giving the district an air of superiority over the lesser ones.
Careers |
Most people in District Two train to become Peacekeepers and Peacekeeper Trainers, a job most favored by the Capitol since it is so use to them, quarry mine workers, or shop owners. There is not one job in District Two that does not make a significant amount of money though since this district gets so much traffic from the Capitol.
